Let’s talk cocktails! Specifically cocktails that are inspired by tequila, because, well.. (duh!) and laced with the essence of edible flowers. Oh yeah, we went there – Chamomile Citrus Paloma coming right at ya!
Look, it’s a known fact that I am obsessed with all things citrus based and spiked with tequila. However, I didn’t realize how head over heels in love I was going to fall for the chamomile citrus simple syrup that Vigor + Sage and I concocted for our new blog series inspired by edible flowers. Did you check out all of that chamomile deliciousness last week?
A few weeks ago we spent a few days in Palm Springs in this killer pool house. We grilled every day, we hiked, we sat in the hot tub, we shopped for treasures and we mixed drinks like nobody’s business! I love paloma’s with their fresh grapefruit juice and salty rims, but when you hit them with a little of the chamomile and citrus simple syrup they are elevated to a whole new level of tasty!
So, get your bathing suit and your poolside manner ready – it’s Paloma time! Also, holy crap - I'm in my bathing suit on the internet...never saw that coming!
