5-ingredient Cookies and Cream Fudgesicles
What is it about frozen fudge that is so darn unforgettable?! Wait. Don’t answer that!
While these fudgesicles may look and taste like the ones we ate as kids, I can assure you they are a far superior pop. Let me explain:
- The Fudgesicles of our youth were LOADED with sugar, corn syrup, and corn syrup solids (what even is that?) They were like individual little sugar bombs just waiting to send you over the edge. My homemade version only has a 1/2 cup granulated sugar but if that still seems like a bit much to you – you can easily cut the measurement in half to a 1/4 cup per batch.
- Store bought fudgesicles don’t offer you a protein boost like my 5-ingredient Cookies and Cream Fudgesicles do!! I incorporated an entire 11.5 ounce container of Premier Protein Cookies and Cream Shakes into the recipe which adds a whopping 30 grams of protein to the recipe. So, now you can simultaneously up your protein intake, while curbing your sweet tooth and beating the heat with a frozen treat all at the same time!
- You can throw these 5 ingredients in a blender and have these pops in the freezer WAY faster than you can drive down to the store and buy a box of fudgesicles. That is a solid win in my book!
