A few weeks ago I went to Expo West to check out all of the new products that are going to be rolling into grocery stores and health food stores in 2018 and there was one ingredient trending above the rest and it was turmeric. Literally, there were golden milks, golden lattes, turmeric teas, golden milk infused cereal, and golden ginger shooters everywhere!
I have been making my own turmeric laced lattes for a few years now, but all of that golden goodness at Expo made me want to expand my turmeric repertoire, so friends I created this vegan Golden Milk Yogurt Bowl with Silk Almondmilk Yogurt Alternative so we can all start our day with the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant-rich powerhouse turmeric coursing through our bodies!

Vegan Golden Milk Yogurt Bowls
If you like the healing benefits and flavor of Golden Milk Latte’s then you are going to love this Golden Milk Yogurt Bowl! Whip this up in the evenings and let the yogurt mixture hang out in the fridge to develop color and flavor until you are ready for breakfast.

2 (5.3 ounce) packages Silk Vanilla Almondmilk Yogurt Alternative
1/2 tablespoon vanilla bean paste
1 tablespoon milled golden flax seed
2 tablespoons freshly grated turmeric or 1 tablespoon powdered turmeric
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
granola, coconut shreds, pepitas, chopped dried mandarins, bee pollen, edible flowers
In a large bowl combine the two packages of Silk Vanilla Almondmilk Yogurt Alternative, vanilla bean paste, flax seed, turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon. Stir until completely mixed. Cover tightly and place in the fridge for at least 2-4 hours or up to 10 hours. As the yogurt sits it will become more and more golden in color and the flavors will develop. To serve top with desired toppings and serve immediately.
