Recently, I set out to create the best hot fudge sauce ever, and friend, I think I've done it! This delightful dessert topping is incredibly smooth and sultry, and made with less sugar. Thanks to one of my favorite pantry staples, California prunes, it's also packed with nutrients and fiber.
Let's make the best-poached pears!
Add a bottle of dry Rosé wine & sugar into a sauce pan.
Slice peeled ginger & add to pan with vanilla extract.
Peel & add the pears. Make sure they are submerged in the poaching liquid
Spread a generous layer of that irresistible hot fudge sauce onto a plate. Now, gently place the perfectly poached pear on top of that luscious bed of chocolatey goodness and drizzle a bit of the reduced poaching liquid over the top.
