1 1/2 ounces dark rum
2 tablespoons cider spiced applesauce, or regular applesauce
3 ounces apple cider
1/8 cup light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
thinly sliced apples
In a small saucer combine the list brown sugar and cinnamon, stir to combine. Wet the rim of a rocks glass and place the moistened rim of the glass into the brown sugar cinnamon mixture. Fill the glass with ice, 1 slice of apple, and a cinnamon stick. Set aside.
Fill a martini shaker with ice then add the rum, applesauce, and apple cider. Shake vigorously. Strain into the prepared rocks glass. Fill to the top with ginger beer and stir with the cinnamon stick to combine, Serve immediately.
