Recipes for Grapes: Grape Nice Cream

Meg van der Kruik

The Nice Cream craze has blown up in recently, and for good reason. It's delicious, plant-based, and a way to get your ice cream while still being healthy. This Grape Nice Cream is one of our favorite recipes for grapes! You only need 4 ingredients!

Prep Time: 5 Min

- green grapes, frozen - honey - finely grated lime zest - juice of half a lime - vanilla extract

Freeze Time: 2-4 hrs

Ingredients

White Scribbled Underline

In a food processor, puree the frozen grapes, scraping down the sides as needed. Add remaining ingredients if desired and puree until smooth.

Storage and Keeping

The frozen sorbet will keep in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Notes

If you only want to use frozen grapes for this recipe and no other flavorings, just add a tablespoon or so of apple juice, or water, to get the blades of the food processor moving when you begin to blend.

What does it taste like?

It has a silky smooth mouthfeel reminiscent of sorbet while somehow having an effervescent quality as the grapes dissolve.

Best Grapes to Use

Purple grapes make a beautiful, rich-colored nice cream! We really love Cotton Candy Grapes and Gum Drop Grapes. They pack a wallop of flavor that is reminiscent of candy and perfect for dessert!
