Did you know that California grows 80 varieties of fresh grapes? It’s true! Most of us just call them by their colors instead of their actual name. Whichever seedless table grapes you happen to have on hand though, green, red, or black, they are all delicious turned into grape nice cream.
What types of grapes are best for making Grape Nice Cream?
While I tend to have an abundance of green table grapes on hand these days I sometimes use red seedless grapes for a more pink-hued version of this nice cream. Purple seedless grapes make a beautiful, rich-colored nice cream that would be perfect for a date night treat!
You can even use specialty flavored grapes for this Nice Cream Recipe! We really love Cotton Candy Grapes and Gum Drop Grapes. They pack a wallop of flavor that is reminiscent of candy and perfect for dessert! Plus, with those varieties, there is no need for me to add additional flavorings. I just blend the flavored grapes up with a touch of apple juice to get the blades moving and that is it!
