Ingredients

1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1/2 tablespoon Aleppo pepper, optional
1/4 cup Ancho chili powder, or regular chili powder
1/4 cup sweet or smoked paprika
2 tablespoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons ground cumin
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

Pulse the red pepper flakes and Aleppo pepper in a spice mill until combined (or manually crush in a mortar and pestle.) Transfer to a large jar.
To the jar add the chili powder, sweet paprika, oregano, ground cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and freshly ground black pepper. Place a lid on the container and shake vigorously to incorporate.

Notes

To really amp the flavor: Toast whole cumin and coriander in a dry skillet over medium-low heat util fragrant then grind them yourself with a spice grinder or mortar and pestle.

To give as a gift: Layer the spices in jars like sand art and seal. Be careful not to shake when wrapping/gifting.
