Over the last year, we have spent a lot of time reflecting on what's most important to us. And, really it comes down to time. We asked ourselves, how can we spend (not just more time) - but true quality time together with family and friends. The question drove us to explore how we were using our property. Maybe we got a little crazy - but we love it! Here's a little peak behind the curtain 🙂
Last Fall we began working on our greenhouse.. and it's finally done! Take a look at some of the before and after.
Just down the hill from the greenhouse is our garden! We've planted a Southern Bed, Italian Bed, Mexican Bed, Cocktail Bed, Asian-inspired Bed + a Moonlight Blooming Bed. Hungry yet?
We built the garden beds ourselves, and used the Japanese process of shou sugi ban to seal and protect against water (with a $35 torch).
Living Space
Our home is ... eclectic. Todd and I are both artists - at least we were in our past lives, haha! So being surrounded by art is a prerequisite. Want a little peak inside? Here you go!
Wiggle Room @ The Cocktail Cabin
OK, so there's another project in the works. A place we can hang in the Summer under a little shade. Just around the bend from the cocktail garden is the Wiggle Room. Pick your herbs and take them to the secret bar (behind our favorite Butch Anthony painting..) and make your favorite drink!
