1/2 of 1 vanilla bean, scraped and pod reserved for another use or 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For the chocolate banana ice cream

1 batch of banana ice cream base
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

3/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

For the strawberry banana ice cream

1 batch of banana ice cream base
1/2 cup roughly chopped, frozen strawberries

Instructions

For all 3 flavors

Make the banana ice cream base according to the directions. Once the bananas are the consistency of soft serve ice cream add the additional ingredients for whichever flavor you choose and blend until combined.
