This pumpkin cake roll may look impressive, but the best part is how easy it actually is to make. The pumpkin cake batter comes together quickly with pumpkin puree and spices you probably already have on hand in your spice cabinet!

Sprinkle powdered sugar over a clean kitchen towel.

Place a piece of parchment over the hot cake while it is in the pan.

Fold the sugared towel over the pan and secure tightly.

While holding the ends tight, flip over so that the cake is upside down.

Carefully remove the hot pan.

Working away from you, roll the hot cake into the towel.

Once rolled, tighten the ends to secure.

Cool completely seam side down.

Once cooled, gently unroll, remove top sheets of parchment & dollop the filling on top.

Spread the filling almost to the edges in a thin even layer,

Use the remianing sheet of parchment underneath the cake to roll the cake again.

Roll the cake, concealing all the icing then place seam side down on a serving dish.
