2. Blooming Beauties: Explore the World of Protea at Resendiz Brothers Protea Growers
Tucked away in the Temecula Valley, Resendiz Brothers is a floral farm that specializes in proteas, a unique and captivating flower that is native to South Africa. The farm is home to over 100 varieties of proteas, as well as a variety of other flowers, including pincushions, banksia, and kangaroo paws.
In addition to its beautiful flowers, Resendiz Brothers is also a great place to learn about the history and cultivation of proteas.
The farm is a family-owned and operated business, and the Resendiz family is passionate about sharing their knowledge of these unique flowers with visitors.

While you are there be sure to enjoy a meal at Bolero Restaurante. We enjoyed a very personal dish from Executive Chef Hany Ali of Fire Roasted Eggplant & Shishito Peppers over his late mothers' recipe for fresh garbanzo bean hummus. It was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten - and Chef Ali is truly one of those people that you want to sit and share a meal with. His loving, kind, and passionate demeanor comes through in each dish he creates.
4. A Grape Escape: Soar Above Temecula in a Hot Air Balloon
Take the adventure to new heights—literally! Picture this: floating in a hot air balloon, soaring above the vineyards and green fields with the wind gently brushing your face. The peace, the serenity, the jaw-dropping views all wrapped up with a sparkling wine toast at the end—it was a moment I'll never forget. Trust me; you've got to add this to your bucket list!
Honestly, I don't think my inner child has ever been more lit up than it was cruising high above the landscape in that hot air balloon. It is an experience I will happily take with me for the rest of my life!
5. Spend a Day in Old Town Temecula
Old Town Temecula is a charming historic district located in the heart of Temecula Valley. The district is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and art galleries, as well as a number of historical landmarks.
Temecula Olive Oil Company
One of the most popular things to do in Old Town Temecula is to visit the Temecula Olive Oil Company's tasting room.
The tasting room offers a variety of olive oils and vinegars to sample, as well as a variety of other olive oil-related products.
Temecula Lavender Company
Another popular stop in Old Town Temecula is the Temecula Lavender Co. This lavender farm and shop offers a variety of lavender-infused products, including honey, olive oil, bath products, and more.
