Have you noticed that the Pinterest boards are lighting up right now with ideas for handmade Valentine's cards, DIY projects, and all sorts of romantic recipes for two in anticipation of the Valentine's love fest? I am pretty much a sucker for all of it!
Every day I try and think of special ways to show my family that I love them; I send hand written notes in their lunches, sometimes I make fresh juice for everyone to have at lunch, or I tuck in a few sweet treats to add a little fun into their afternoon. So naturally on Valentine's I go over and beyond my normal lunch antics. I make heart shaped food, I color coordinate fruit and veggies, and I always throw in a little something extra that they aren't expecting. This year is no different than any other year except that one lucky Beard and Bonnet reader will be sharing in my Valentine's lunchbox antics after they win this amazing giveaway from my friends at Mighty Nest!
As a mom who is more than slightly obsessed with knowing what is in everything that I feed my family, where it is grown, and what materials went into manufacturing it I can honestly say that shopping online with Mighty Nest has made my life easier! I know when I peruse their website for items to use in my home and in my families lunches that the great people behind Mighty Nest have given each and every item in their inventory a thorough evaluation so I don't have too. Bottom line, if it's not eco-friendly and 100% safe, they aren't selling it. Recently Mighty Nest launched a new program that I am pretty excited about that actually allows me the opportunity to help my kid's schools while I shop! Now when I log in to Mighty Nest and sign in to my account 15 % of my orders go directly to the school of my choice. Now I not only feel good about what I am buying I also have the added bonus of knowing that I helped to support my kid's schools too.
This year I have a BIG surprise for Eliza on Valentine's! After her breakfast of raspberry kissed mini-muffins and fresh juice I will be handing her this special lunch all decked out for the big day. I fell in love with this cute little 'I Heart You' lunch tote as soon as I laid eyes on it and I know that Eliza will be super in to it too.
Packed inside she will find a sweet little pink hued LifeFactory water bottle filled with homemade mint and pomegranate infused water, a brilliant red Lunchbots bento filled with her favorite fruits, heart shaped peanut butter and strawberry jam mini-sandwiches on gluten free bread, and homemade small batch potato chips. She will have her own reusable bamboo utensil set in the prettiest of pink pouches and a little reusable snack bag filled with caramel filled kisses and homemade gluten free snickerdoodles!
Mighty Nest is making it really easy for you to enter this giveaway and support the school of your choice at the same time! Simply fill in the box below and register your school then you will be automatically entered for a chance to win this entire set of lunch gear valued at $90 and a $50 donation from Mighty Nest to the school you selected. You have until midnight 2/7 to enter so, what are you waiting for? Sign up your school and start planning your loved ones special lunch for Valentine's Day.

Would love to win this! I pack all our lunches each night for the next day. It's so hard to determine portions in all those little containers and without a doubt I over pack almost every day! This would make at least one lunch easier!
Too bad we can't get the $50 for us tho! We homeschool and $50 would go a long way toward curriculum or field trips!
