Mama needs a brand new blender and The 2013 So Delicious Dairy-Free Recipe Contest  might just be the way for me to get one! Thanks to Alisa over at Go Dairy Free and the awesome people at So Delicious you can enter too and get the chance to win the grand prize of a whopping $500 gift card from William's Sonoma!  *No blog, no problem! Send them an email to enter. So take a moment, and go enter your vegan So Delicious recipe here, I know you have a few, maybe even this new coconut rum drink.

Then view the entries and vote for your favorites on the So Delicious Dairy-Free 2013 Recipe Contest Board on Pinterest. Don't forget to follow the board so you can stay inspired and continue to vote for your favorites until the contest is over on Friday, May 17th!

I figured that since it was Friday and all I would share my "go-to" cocktail of the moment that just happens to call for So Delicious Vanilla Coconut Milk. When I was a kid I LOVED creamsicle popsicles and for a while now Todd and I have been trying to recreate that flavor in a cocktail. We finally nailed it a few weeks ago when we paired OJ, coconut rum , and a splash of  coconut milk. Seriously, took me back to my childhood treat, minus the rum of course! Did I mention that it's easy? Like a lazy weekend day in the South kind of easy. This coconut rum drink even calls for the use of a true Southern staple, the Mason jar, and sticking with my Southern theme I decided to go ahead and enter my Faux Buttermilk Biscuits too!  So sit down, sip a cocktail, then head on over to Pinterest and vote for me by liking my entries, won't you?! I really do need that blender.

If you’ve tried this Coconut Creamsicle Cocktail Recipe I would be so grateful if you would rate the recipe and let me know what you think in the comments below. I just love hearing from you and your reviews and comments really help others that visit This Mess is Ours!

Unfortunately it seems that the creator of the contest pulled down the Pinterest board when the contest was over. You can access recipes using So Delicious here though: http://sodeliciousdairyfree.com/recipes
