It has been a while since I shared a Sunday Snapshot with you here on B&B. To be honest, we have been so busy with the move and Todd's insane travel schedule that we haven't really had the opportunity to get out and explore. This past weekend we decided it was time to take the kids for a drive to see Butch Anthony's latest project, the world's first Drive Thru Art Museum in Seale, AL. With this weekend being the annual Doo-Nanny folk art festival on Butch's 80-acre farm we knew there would be lots to see and it would be a nice way to spend one of our last weekends here. Although the drive thru museum isn't quite finished it was so much fun to see how far it has come since Butch announced a few weeks ago on his Facebook page that he was building it. Our visit in Seale, AL was one of the most fantastical trips we have ever made and we left wondering why we hadn't made the trip sooner. We met some of the nicest people, saw some pretty strange things, and scored a few pieces of artwork that will serve as a reminder for years to come of our Doo-Nanny experience. The only thing we didn't get to experience was the Possum Trot Auction that takes place every Friday. We may just have to try and fit in another visit before we go to check out the auction and to see how far the drive thru has come.
Over the next few weeks I will be sharing pictures from our day at the Doo-Nanny here on B & B as a part of our Sunday Snapshots series. We hope that you have as much fun looking through the pictures as we have taking them... if you are hungry for more of the Doo-Nanny and just can't wait until next Sunday head on over to our Instagram!
