Yesterday was the perfect fall day for a Sunday drive up to Burt's Pumpkin Patch. We had a great time with the kids, picking everyone's "perfect" pumpkin, brainstorming carving ideas and eating lots of pumpkin goodies! Even Kash picked a pumpkin this year, he was very serious about it and didn't waiver a bit after he made his final decision. I was obsessed with all of the gourds and varieties of squash, don't be surprised when a few of these pop up in blog posts over the course of the next few weeks. I am the most excited about the turban squash that we picked up, I have always been intimidated by them and I am determined to master them this year!

Thanks Dana and yes, it was a family flannel kind of day! It was funny, everyone came downstairs in plaid so we just went with it and dressed the baby that way too. Made for some great family pictures.:)
